Space Planning & Real Estate Coordinator/Administrative & Office Specialist II
Space Planning and Real Estate Services
1500 hours, Non-exempt, Funded Wage/Part-time, Position #PW004
Longwood University invites qualified applicants for the position of Space Planning and Real Estate Coordinator in the Department of Space Planning and Real Estate Services.
* Database management for university owned and leased real estate, university buildings and rooms as well as historical buildings
* Records management of real estate records, university space planning and campus impact planning
* Providing organizational support through assisting with property acquisitions, leasing, space planning process, campus impact process
* Drafting lease renewals and associated paperwork
* Assist with the Department of Historical Resources process
* Assist with special projects including property research
* Coordinate and attend meetings
Pay Band 2. No benefits accompany this position. Position limited to a maximum of 29 hours per week and 1500 hours per work year. AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and other national service alumni are encouraged to apply. ## Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of experience
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook)
* Experience answering telephones, using copiers, maintaining appointments, calendars, spreadsheets and other records
* Ability to multi-task
* Excellent organizational skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
